Coaching Director/Co-Founder:  Heather Porrini

Heather, along with her mother, Grace Porrini, founded Cinnaminson Girls Field Hockey in 2009.  Heather began playing field hockey as a 7th grader at Cinnaminson Middle School; the earliest a player could start.  Since starting, Heather flourished in the game; she was a 3.5 year Varsity starter at Center Midfield for CHS and even earned MVP her Senior season.  She compiled 6 goals and numerous assists as a predominately, defensive player.  After CHS, Heather continued her play at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA, under Coach Megan Eddinger.  She was a 4 year starter, playing in the midfield and then moving to Right and Left Back.  Heather helped lead her team to 3rd place in the Cenntenial Conference during her senior season and a bid to the ECAC tournament.  In addition, Heather finished with 8 defensive saves, 2 goals, and 2 assists (one coming in an overtime win over Washington College).  During her time at Muhlenberg, Heather played internationally two times; once with her Muhlenberg team in Holland, Germany, and Belgium, and the second time with USA Athletes International in Austria, Italy and Slovenia.

Heather's expertise focuses on defensive skill, but is able to teach offensive skill due to her knowledge of the game.  She led her second year Badger team to an undefeated, no goals against season in 2016 with SJYFH.  In addition, in 2016, the team won the Columbus Day Tournament.  In 2017, her first year Honey Badger team placed 2nd in the Columbus Day Tournament against a club team.  Heather has taken her team, in 2016, to a club team tournament, where they placed 4th out of 6 teams, beating out 2 club teams.

In 2018, Heather led her Honey Badger team to another undefeated season, 13-0.  She graduated eleven, 8th grade players, who started with her when they were in 5th grade.

In 2021, Heather lead her Honey Badger team to a 2nd place finish in the SJYFH League, losing 3-2 against a tough Millville team with many club athletes.

In addition, to field hockey, Heather played softball at Muhlenberg for 3 years as a pitcher and graduated with a BA in Psychology in 2015.  Heather was Pre-Med in college as well.  Currently, Heather is working for Painting Pups as a Painting Consultant.   Heather is also coaching at the club level for South Jersey Edge. In addition, Heather does many private instruction for field hockey- currently trains around 24 players, 6 are in college currently.
